What an amazing spring day in Boulder, Colorado with these two! Apple blossoms, honeysuckles, mule deer still fuzzy with winter coats, an unobstructed view of the Flatirons, and a sweet, fun couple. Seriously, seriously fun. Bridget and Jumin brought the perfect styled “what to wear to an engagement shoot” outfits, but then changed into their “nerdy shirts” (I love the Batman and Robin in particular) because they clearly fit their personalities so well. Bridget outlined for us the ways she’s hoping to get some classic video games into their cake display, and I have to say I wholeheartedly approve.
My favorite moment in their shoot, though, was… see, this whole engagement picture process is undoubtedly a little awkward. It’s like being on a date, but with the paparazzi along, only the paparazzi is guiding your date, your locations and asking you to snuggle and look natural. In the middle of this, Jumin turned to Bridget and said, “Just let the moment take you…” He said it so earnestly… I’m laughing right now just thinking about it. In fact, we had another engagement session yesterday and I requested a close snuggle from the couple, and in the back of my head, there’s Jumin whispering, “Let the moment take you…”
I love my job.
