I was so thrilled to see these spring apple blossoms appear just in time to celebrate this beautiful mama and her nearly-here baby girl. And then, because it’s Colorado in the springtime, it rained. Poured buckets. It was a hair-pulling, frustrating whole 15 minutes. I was so worried we’d have to reschedule and probably miss these pretty trees, but the storm left everything kind of magical and gave us the place to ourselves.
Big brother Marco doesn’t want to admit he feels much of anything about having a new baby sister. I’ll ask if he’s nervous (no), excited (no), worried (no), instead he declares, “I am nothing about it!” I think these pictures show otherwise! I think he’s pretty darn in love already – he’d snuggle Mom’s belly so tight it was hard to see his face sometimes. The black and white of him and his mom and that little shy smile of his vies with the black and white of him and his dad for my favorite picture of Mr. Marco. He’s got a pretty special relationship with each member of his growing family.
Lots of love to all of you, and we can’t wait to meet her! -A&D
Those blossoms are just perfect. What a gorgeous day for this family and what a beautiful way to celebrate such exciting news.
