I really enjoy seeing how each baby we get to hang out with clearly and definably has his or her own personality. It’s amazing how much we are our own persons from the moment we arrive. Emery loves ruffles and watching her parents make silly faces and voices for her. She’d much rather be indoors, thank you, and once she ended up with those pearls we were never, ever, ever getting them back from her. What she really wanted to do was crash them into the floor over and over to make the loudest noise possible, but she was content to chew away as well. Only her feet could distract her. Mmmmm, tasty toes!
