How on earth is this little girl 1 already?!? How is her older brother going to be a first grader next year? Why do I feel like those annoying adults, flabbergasted by children growing up, that I remember as a kid when I ask these questions?
If they have to grow up, at least we can celebrate it! Miss Kendall loved her cake. Not all kids like that squishy feeling, but she dug in with relish. She even left her hat alone for most of the cake, which is hard enough! Big sister Samara was on hand to be a good helper, and we snuck a few photos of her too. I love the photo of her kissing Kendall on the cheek where Kendall doesn’t look so sure about that plan- it’s begging for a caption.
After cake smash pictures, of course it’s time for a little bath. We added some bubbles to the bath, and of course the girls were way more interested in chasing those, so we turned them loose!
