Every so often, we have the privilege to metaphorically sort of join the families of the folks we photograph. It’s certainly become that way with The Goldbergs! We shot Lauren’s sister, Lindsey, and her husband, Travis’, wedding last September, and I don’t think it was even a week afterwards when their mom, Jan, asked if we were open this spring. Since we got to meet L and Chin and absolutely adore the whole family, we were so happy she asked!
Lauren and Chin definitely brought a bit of their New York style to their Colorado wedding. It was a classic, clean and modern event at one of our favorite venues down in the Denver Tech Center, Palazzo Verdi. Nicole Iverson of Swank Stems did an amazing job too! (She always does!) I loved the purple ombre feathers in the centerpieces and the white anemone in Lauren’s bouquet.
While it was a very stylish wedding, it was also very meaningful and spiritual. I think these were the first vows we’d ever heard about promising to be associates on the road to enlightenment, which I love. It was also clear that family and close, close friends are super important to the couple. Everyone was so supportive and so happy for them!
Lauren’s amazing bridal style- doesn’t she look like a 1960’s screen goddess?
Adorable lower girls helping Lauren get ready!
This junior groomsman was hilarious and super camera aware. The first thing he said to me was, “Your mom is cool.” She had just let him ham it up for her for a bit…
I love pictures of couples who have been together and loved one another for a long time. So often all the attention goes to the young couples! These two have a big anniversary coming up this summer…
Scariest Hora of all time. I somehow ended up trapped inside the circle, and I am little and easily shoved about. Then it got even scarier when Chin’s football buddies decided they were going to lift up the chairs after all…
I cracked up so badly when I saw this photo- apparently my mom and Chin were conspiring on the side! It makes me laugh every time!
Congratulations again you two! We can’t wait to join your family on new adventures, like a new baby niece!
Mazel.
