We’re getting closer to having all our weddings from last summer up on the blog finally- and just in time too. Our first wedding for this year, Charisse and Chris, is this Sunday!
Salome and Julian‘s album just arrived, so I thought it was a perfect time to show you all their amazing wedding. They held an eclectic event at Julian’s home church and Mile High Station. This wedding really was a great blend- from rose gold to “Risky Business,” from high end elegant detailing to urban graffiti art, from a ceremony full of tradition and family to an ultra modern, industrial reception venue, and from pretty, GIANT, pink balloons to groomsmen in Guy Fawkes masks.
I can’t really explain the masks, and I don’t really want to. They’re this wonderful, intriguing enigma- they attacked the wedding party during the reception and inspired a communicable flash-mob- and I’d rather their significance remain a mystery. I will say, though, that they were at their most bizarre when the flower girls were wearing them in the limo… here were these tiny girl bodies with big, adult, moustachioed heads. It was delightfully creepy.
Once again, Finao’s cover options allowed us to find the right blend for this offbeat wedding. Salome was able to incorporate her rose gold and elegance with something a little edgy and modern. We love that their books give us so many choices!
You can see their entire album below- we know that our prospective couples love to see what our they could really walk away with at the end of the day.
Beautiful photography and beautiful wedding! Love this one!!!
