It’s been so long since we’ve gotten to do a Trash the Dress session, we were excited to put one together with Tanya and Brian! We never really “trash” any dresses- these shoots are just a great reason to have some fun, get to get all dressed up again without the stress of the wedding day and without worrying about getting things dirty.
We started their shoot at this incredible overlook in the middle of a Littleton neighborhood. We had quintessential Colorado blue skies, big Simpsons’ clouds, and just enough wind to give Tanya’s dress some drama. Afterwards, Tanya really wanted to get in the water. We’re cautious about brides and rivers for safety reasons, but Brian found the perfect little eddy where they could get in and get each other soaked. It was darn cold that water, straight from the Colorado snow melt, but they were undeterred!
