We couldn’t neglect Vicky and Naam’s engagement shoot either! We headed up into Kanaan Dume Canyon near the private home where their wedding was held a couple days before their event. In the little turn off we’d picked overlooking the canyon, we also found a walking path down into the moss and scrub oaks. It really looked like an episode of Grimm or something- like the big, bad wolf should come down that road at any time. Colorado engagements are beautiful, but it’s always nice to have new scenery and a new challenge, and California is definitely my second (and my mom’s first!) home.
I love that I can hear Vicky’s big laugh that turns to a silly giggle when I look at these pictures, even a year later. Engagement photos are so helpful to get to know our couples and how they interact, and even though Victoria’s a friend, this was the first time we’d met Naam. Seeing him make her laugh like that- I knew she was in good hands!
