As we work our way through this summer’s weddings that we weren’t able to publish, we’re excited to finally blog Whitney and Grant’s Villa Parker wedding! It’s like being able to hang out with our friends all over again and bask in the warm Colorado summer sun.
The couple did a stellar job with the details for their event. Everything was the perfect blend of purple, silver, and a dusting of jewels- down to the tiny perfect rhinestone on her garter and the outfit for their dog, Bruno. You can also see Bruno modeled on Grant’s groom’s cake (a surprise from his bride!) wearing a tiny cheesehead. Or is that a cheesehat for a cheesehead? The point is, there’s a tiny cheese on that tiny dog’s head.
Whitney’s nephew, Ashur, is responsible for the wedding rubber duckies that bobbed along happily in the Villa Parker’s fountain. He saw them and insisted on giving them to the couple for their wedding, which is pretty adorable. We think he made a pretty cute ring bearer too.
Most importantly though, you can see how happy Whitney and Grant are together, and how happy their friends and family are for them too. I loved seeing Grant’s brothers tear up during the ceremony and the mother-son dance. They were so proud and so very happy.
Lastly, how cool is Whitney and Grant’s album cover? Again, just the perfect blend of silver, purple and sparkles. We love that our album company, Finao, gives us so many options.
Also, we know that our prospective couples like to see whole weddings, what a couple actually takes home with them after a wedding, so here is Whitney and Grant’s full album design. Click to see the book in full screen.
