I love Andrew and David. I love them. I don’t throw that around lightly- they truly make my heart happy seeing them together. I adore their comfortable and practical yet over-the-top stylish home. We really enjoyed playing with their crazy dogs, Chester, who looks like he just stepped out of a French Rococo painting, and Brodie, a silly brown puppy who needs to hold as many toys in his mouth at once as possible. And I really, really love the way Andrew starts to tear up a little if he looks at David for too long…
We really appreciate photographing engagement sessions at our couples’ homes. It makes the photos even more personal, especially when you’ve put as much work into your home as Andrew and David have. It lets us photograph our couples with their pets in a place that is comfortable for everyone (sometimes too comfortable!) and it gives you a background no one else has in their images. Ten thousand couples have their photographs done at Red Rocks (and we love Red Rocks too, especially in the winter), but no one else has the photographs these two have.
