What a great venue for a wedding rehearsal dinner- especially when the groom is as big a baseball fan as Mike! Dana and Mike entertained their guests with classic ballpark fare, including Denver specific hot dogs- I didn’t know there was such a thing as a “Denver Dog”- sliders, and Cracker Jacks. We had another crazy night of Colorado spring rain with tornado warnings just to the west of downtown, and the wild weather made for some gorgeous twilight skies. Dana and Mike’s guests could relax and enjoy dinner while watching the storm move out behind Coors Field.
The highlight of the evening were the toasts from their family and friends. There were cute posters (Everything I Ever Need to Know I Learned From My Little Sister), severed doll heads (some inside jokes we just never get the whole story on…), and rubber band balls that both span the years of marriage and represent one just beginning. Most of all, there were lots of laughs and lots of tears. Dana and Mike’s family and friends were clearly touched by the depth of emotion and relationships they all share, and so happy these two have found one another!
