We love engagement shoots that are personal to each couple! Nicole and Peter both attended the University of Denver and they spent a lot of time hanging out at Stella’s Coffeehaus. When we talked about locations that might be good for engagement pictures, it was clear that these spaces would tell their story best, and they brought some football rivalry for some added fun.
Telling your story is really what engagement pictures should do- they are your first family photos and should add to your family heritage. Nicole and Peter can sit down with their engagement album/guest book and can tell their grand kids all about how they met and what life was like for them way back when.
As an added bonus, both DU and Pearl Street are great places for wedding photos in the winter. Pearl Street is full of bright colors, Stella’s has great light and cozy nooks, and the grounds of DU held all the snow from the previous day’s “major” storm in the bright, sparkling Colorado sunshine. Thank you Nicole for encouraging us to go out anyway, despite the crazy conditions on Saturday- it could not have been a better day!
