There’s not much better than watching a friend find their person. It’s been a joy to see Quynh and Nathan’s relationship grow over the past few years- from potluck dinners to pumpkin carving contests- and a privilege to be present for and document their wedding day. I’ve known Quynh (and a lot of these ladies pictured here) for at least more than half our lives… long enough to remember talking about guys and what we thought our lives would be like as adults. I’m very grateful that Quynh found a remarkable person in Nathan- someone who shares her sense of adventure (they’re currently hiking the Himalayas), her love of life, and her easy going, but ambitious, ways.
It was also fun to get to know Nathan’s friends and family a little better as well. They were upstanding, fun loving, and they can brew some mean beers. His sister in particular was a delight to have around. It was clear from the whole wedding that friends and family are so very important to Quynh and Nathan, and in turn they were well supported and celebrated. Add to that some kids with some crazy dance floor moves (seriously- I caught them outside planning how they would go from a human pyramid into the worm… this was before they orchestrated a giant conga line…) and Quynh and Nathan’s wedding couldn’t have been better.
My deepest congrats again you guys, and wishes for a safe trip home! -Amanda
