Congratulations to Jennifer and Geoff! Theirs was a super fun, laid back wedding starting at the new courthouse in downtown Denver. They were married in the Supreme Court chambers by Chief Justice Nancy Rice. I love how this very somber, important, beautiful room was also filled with ballet dancing and candy-colored mums handed out by their daughters to everyone post ceremony. Their friends and family are clearly also super fun and laid back- they had their flowers behind their ears with tropical flair, stuck in their button holes, wielded as tickling devices. It was a great contrast.
The party moved from the justice center over to the deck of the Art Hotel. Jennifer and Geoff had a Union Jack cake made for him and his family and a sparkler “send off” halfway through the party because they kids thought it’d be fun. This couple is very about “you do you,” which is great. Want to have fireworks in the middle of the day because it sounds like fun? Why not! Your wedding should be a celebration of who you are individually, who you are as a couple, and who your community of friends and family is. It makes each wedding so much more relaxing and less stressful when people know and embrace themselves!
Our biggest congrats again you two! We adore who you are, and it was our honor to help capture your day! -A&D
So lovely! The use of architecture and the emotion captured is fantastic!
